HydraSafe Brake is designed for rail-mounted installation without modifying the elevator machine. Every project still requires an equipment review, site survey, documentation, testing, and the locally required acceptance process.

The installation process should be planned around the actual elevator, site conditions, permitted scope, test requirements, and building access. Physical rail mounting and return to service are separate schedule items.

No machine modification
The brake mounts at the guide rail. The proposed scope does not require modification of the elevator machine.
Physical rail mounting
Physical rail mounting is typically completed within six hours inside a permitted project. This is not a guarantee of total outage or return-to-service time.
Technical documentation
Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting documentation is available for review by qualified elevator professionals.
Acceptance planning
Coordinate the test plan, inspection requirements, and AHJ acceptance process before scheduling a return to service.
